Tammie Bowman, Secretary

Meet Tammie Bowman, a Robinson Chamber of Commerce board member since 2020. In her duties at the Chamber of Commerce, Tammie previously served as the Secretary.

In her college career, Tammie attended Tarleton State University, received an Associate’s degree in Arts from McLennan Community College, and a Bachelor’s in Applied Arts and Sciences from Texas A&M University-Commerce. In her professional career, she has over 20 years of experience being highly involved in the energy business and currently works for Atmos Energy as Manager of Public Affairs for the Mid-Tex Division. Prior to joining the Atmos Energy team, she had the opportunity to work in the Customer Contact Center for TXU Energy. Tammie has also served in other aspects of the energy business as a Supervisor of Customer Operation, Quality Coach, and many other roles.

She enjoys spending time with family, camping, and volunteering in the community in her free time. She has been married to her high school sweetheart since 1995, and they have three daughters. In her community involvement, Tammie also serves as the Board President for Youth Connection and on the board for United Way of McLennan County. At the top of her bucket list, she wants to travel all over the United States to see all the beautiful scenery.
